I was just wondering if anyone knew when the next cs-cart minor release is due? Also, does anyone know if there is a list of fixes somewhere and if it will be easy to upgrade from v4.0.1?
I have to get cracking on a client site, but if I install the current version it would be nice to know that it will upgrade easily to the latest release when it drops…
Several posts indicate that 4.0.1 should be released this month (September). There is no firm date. This release will include the update tool. Have not seen list of fixes, since probably not finalized. I am waiting until 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 to upgrade.
ya i've been waiting for this, its good if cs-cart could tell us (at least the date)
Why the rush? Persevere and you'll receive a considerably more stable release.

Usually the labs at http://labs.cs-cart…timate/?version switches to a new version before they release an update. Note the labs is still on 4.02, so I would say a release is NOT eminent.

You are right.
The first releases are always bugy, don't hurry.
The first release date was the very end of August, than the beginning of September…
Now who know, the devs are telling nothing.
Is not very good because it makes difficult the add-ons develoment.
