Once the installation is complete, it is strongly recommended that you take the following steps to protect the current installation and the CS-Cart source code.[/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial][size=3]
1. Remove the directory install/. [/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial][size=3]
2. Change the default administrator password. [/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial][size=3]
3. Remove the distribution package from the web accessible directory on your server. [/size][/font][/color][color=#333333][font=Arial][size=3]
4. Change the access permissions for the files as advised below. [/size][/font][/color]
If you uploaded the file containing CS-Cart (the one you downloaded from the CS-Cart website) to your actual server in a place that a 3rd party could access then you should delete it.
If you uncompressed it locally on your PC and FTP'ed the files/directories over that way then you can ignore that step.
