We've just installed the live chat add on from Click Desk and now have the following issue with our site - www.bigsignco.com
Fatal error: Smarty error: [in index.tpl line 349]: syntax error: unrecognized tag 'var' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 589) in /home/wwwbigsi/public_html/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095
We haven't a clue how to resolve this and ClickDesk are now ignoring us on their own live chat system when asking for help, can anyone please advise what we need to do.
We've removed the the addon from our server but we still have the problem.

Save the changes and flush your cache by appending your admin URL with ?cc (yourstore.com/youradmin.php?cc)
Sorry for any inconvenience caused Nathan. The module has been tested before releasing. I shall looking into this and update.
Flushing the cache would solve the error as you removed the module already.
Alternatively, simple method is to login at http://my.clickdesk.com, get your live chat code and paste it in {literal} tags in your template footer file as StellarBytes suggested.
