I created a custom menu through [color=#282828][font=arial, verdana, tahoma, sans-serif]Design > Menus but for some reason no matter what I do I cannot get the sort order of the “Pos.” field to do anything for the menu items. [/font][/color]

The menu currently looks like:
Root Menu Item ( Is set to display all sub-categories )
------- Sub Item 1 ( sub-category item with it's position set to 0 )
------- Sub Item 2 ( custom link I made should be above sub item 1 with it's position set to 20 )
No matter what I do it never appears above the other one…
Am I missing something?

If so, set Sub Item 2's Position (eg. Sub Item 2 Pos: 1) to be any value lower than Sub Item 1's (eg. Sub Item 1 Pos: 2) Position value with the exception of a value of '0'. Any value of 0 will precede any value of 1+.

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately when you generate a submenu from a category it seems to ignore any positioning relative to menu items that are added manually.
I looks like it always creates category menu items 1st then generates the manually created menu items. I can go into “Menus” and sort any manual menu items I created, but not any submenu items that were created by dynamically generating the menu through the cart.
I guess I will have to add all of the categories manually.
