Something I only found out recently.



Don't just disable the addons you are not going to use, uninstall them. Install addons slow down your site.

You can go one further and delete the unused addons from the root “addon” folder. Cs Cart goes through a “check” on first load and looks for all hooks, and combs through all addons, whether enabled or not.

Thanks didn't know that, I think I'll move them all to another folder. No wonder people tend to moan about performance I never seen anything about these things in the docs.

Is it OK to remove things like the Anti-Fraud addon and the Age Verification add-on if not using them? I think these are stock CS-Cart add ons but I've never had a use for them and if they are slowing my site down I'd just as soon remove them.

When disabled, I believe only the schemas directory in the add-on is still parsed. Think its a bug. But no templates are parsed. In later versions I think the template

s and blocks will be parsed if in development mode, but not absolutely sure.
