Please if somebody can advice how to get hold of supplier PO add-on?

So let say when I am adding the product there should be one field which lets us add supplier for the product as well. So when the product is getting less or go Out Of Stock I can create a PO for that Product Supplier to re-order .

DOes this makes sense ?? is there any add-on available or something any Suggesstions please ?? any Help and developer who can do customization something I need this ASAP.

thanks.

Yes, it's called Quickbooks. Any accounting software that includes inventory management will create purchase orders. The great benefit to using accounting software is that not only does it create purchase orders, it also receives from purchase orders. And it also reports an average of the cost of goods, vendor history, banking and account balances, budgets and tax preparation reports.

CS-Cart is a SALES channel.

Thank you I am already aware of that software I need Supplier PO add-on within CS-CART

1 - You are adding a Product

2 - Select Supplier for the product while adding the Product

3 - Product Inventory goes out of stock or showing Low inventory.

4- You can Order that withint the system same Product from the supplier.

Does tht makes sense ? I dont need this Quickbooks

Refreshing to hear of others with practical business sense and logic!

(Although I am hoping to someday find a mod so that from my Cs-cart admin panel I can manage my radio controlled forklift !) :-)

Laugh all you want, I also see the advantage of this and am going to implement it when we switch to cs-cart 4 (with 3 stores, 1 inventory).

It's really not that difficult to make and it will save a lot of time entering new amounts into cs-carts inventory.

I don't see the need for quickbooks at all. I export everything (PSP transactions + orders from cs-cart) in 10 minutes in csv and my accountant does the rest. No sycning of inventory, orders, etc with quickbooks necessary.

I do my own accounting. Software like Quickbooks makes it easy. I hate accounting, but after working in IT and web development, I found it's a necessary evil. (I do like the reports and graphs though.)

I manufacture most of my inventory. So I have to BUILD a Product from multiple inventory parts - I can't rely on an accountant to manage all that, I'm just a small business without an accounting department, so I had to choose some accounting software and Quickbooks makes a Manufacturing and Wholesale version of their software that I've now used since '09.

I import all my orders into QB in a couple of seconds also. Once you learn QB's IIF import you can import CS-Cart orders every day in moments.

But, If you are running a business of any size though, you already have to create a PO, pay the vendor (write a check from an account), you have to Receive a PO into inventory, you have to Expense the purchase as Inventory, and Expense the Shipping Cost from Vendor, etc. And you want all these transactions in accounting software.

And Creating a PO is not the same as Receiving from a PO. Only when you Receive from the PO should it impact inventory. There's a new addon in another thread that claims to create a PO for $200. None of the screen shots show any Receiving. Oh boy.

My PO addon will have the possibility to create an order, have the products on hold until the order comes in, and can add them to the inventory with 1 click for all, or per sku if not everything was delivered at the same time. Our vendors use our credit cards or direct debit to take their money from us including shipping. Or they use one of our accounts for shipping.

Their invoice gets mailed to us in PDF and goes into receipt-bank (which rocks btw!) automatically so my accountant picks it up and puts it in the books. You could also sync this directly with Xero or Kashflow if that works for your country.

No need to for quickbooks.

Also

Store Sync ( Let say I have 20 child stores & 1 Master if I add 50 New Products on daily basis into my Master store how can we sync those 50 Products into my Child stores under the same category? Any Advice. is there any option which just push my latest 50 Products from Master into all my child stores ?

Thanks

Faisal

You should use Zoho inventory to get the functionality
