I'm not sure why events are needed for most ecommerce stores, but how do we remove this? I was hoping it was an addon, but I don't see it. I want to remove the link from the My Account block and anywhere else that it's “built in”.
Events is controlled by the “Gift Registry” addon. Disable it, clear your cache and that should be it.
