I want to put a line under "subtotal" in the view cart page that says "shipping" and lists the cost of shipping. All my products have flat rate shipping, assigned in the control panel to each product. Any idea how i could display this?

Thanks

EDIT: and by flat rate, i mean that shipping costs are defined in the "shipping freight" field for each product

try this editing this file:
yourcart/customer/cart_pages/cart.tpl

go to the very bottom and add the <hr> to make the line and put your edited shipping rates after that then upload......Let me nkow if you need futher assistance. John

I tried that, but the problem is i'm not sure which variable to call. I tried $cart.shipping_cost, but it comes in as 0. (I don't think its calculated at that time, and I'm not sure how to force it to calculate). $product.shipping_freight sort of works, but only displays the shipping cost for the last product added to the cart.

Basically, I think I need to figure out how to force some sort of calculation so that $cart.shipping_cost returns a value, or use a method to sum $product.shipping_freight for each item in the cart...just not sure how to do it

Wow, somehow i had seen that first post in that thread (which didn't seem to work correctly) but missed the other mod below. I'll give that a shot, thanks!

It doesn't work with CS Cart 1.3.4 SP3...as I said in that thread...

Is someone able to convert it to 1.3.4 SP3, please?

Many thanks
