www.fashionista-outlet.com-- UK based Discounted Designer Clothes

Hey guys,

Let me know what do you think about the site. Its launched already, but any suggestions are most welcome.

www.fashionista-outlet.com

Sticking to basic cs-cart template and design was intentional.

Thank You,

Studio Art

Had a quick look to show “British” support and all that :-)

Don’t see anything wrong, and I like most of what you’ve done to the place but thats not good for you if you want constructive coments is it ? The one thing I would be concerned about is the is too much white. One of my issues to cs-cart is in the default layouts they is far too much “white space”. For example on my site I want to do away with customer having to scroll down on each and every product page, of to just get to the buy button. I think it can be far more concise leaving more room for other items on the page. You site makes this worse because all the backgrounds are white and sutitle items can be overlooked in my opinion. Sort of lacks impact.

All this is true, I agree, but all my European clients are like this… They are obsessed with whiteness, you can Google top sites in resellers of designer clothes they are all white…

polyvore.com, outnet.com, mythersa.com list is endless…

thanks for your comments

Asos, being one of the most successful British - and the most successful worldwide clothing - online stores is where inspiration should be drawn from imo.

I like the site, it flows nicely and looks elegant enough for the fashion/clothing industry.

One thing you may have overlooked, which is a common fix I have applied on all V3 stores:

/stores/1/skins/basic/customer/styles.css

select {

height: 2.6em;

}

Now the text is not vertically cut-off in your product option dropdowns on product pages, cart, search results, etc.

Also, try to keep the same language locale throughout the site - either 'add to bag' and reference the cart as 'bag' throughout, or 'shopping basket' or similar - I notice there's a mix and match throughout.

Good job though, hope it's a success.
