CS-Cart Support team

I've submitted a support ticket via the customer help desk.

In the mean time …are there any other CSC developers out here that have successfully connected with the QBMS ??

If so …PLEASE help.

is there some trick or some info missing from the current directions?

~B.

hmmmmmmmm

I can't connect to QBMS either. I'm waiting to see if CS-Cart support will help. If so, I'll post info here, but it shouldn't be this hard!

do you already have an account with intuit merchant services?

most likely cs cart support will direct you to the merchant for the answers.

I was able to figure out my QBMS so I can try to help you.

~B.

Yes, I have a QBMS account. And Intuit won't help at all. Their rep knew nothing about this, so any help you can provide would be great. I setup a developer account, but can't seem to get the certificate to populate in the certificates directory.

just a few more questions here to help get the right info to you.

have you registerd an app with intuit at appreg.intuit.com?

are you familar with a terminal window with either mac or pc?

do you have you created a keystore for your certificates?

this is just an outline of steps along with this there are settings that need to be implemented along the way…so its one step at a time.

let me know how far along in this proccess you are already and we'll go from there.

I can post the oppenssl instructions for creating, importing, extracting via terminal if you need.

if needed we'll create a keystore as well.

you will need to register an app properly and then use your teminal to :

  1. Create a key that matches the information already used to create the registered app on intuit.
  2. Create a CSR a “certificate request” based on the information used to create the key.
  3. Submit the CSR at appreg.intuit.com
  4. Copy and past the information that intuit produces for you into two individual files and save in your root directory.

a)one for the CA name it intuit-ca.cer

b)one for the Signed Cert name it intuit-signed-ca.cer

I used ExportPrivateKey.zip in the root directory to do the import and export. you can find that via google.
  5. you will import the certificate(s) information that intuit will produce for you when you submit the CSR
  6. you will export a private key to a file typically called qbms_cert.txt
  7. you will past the original key that you created at the begining into the top part of the qbms_cert.txt

so that both the key and the signed cert are in the qbms_cert.txt file

you can use ssl shopper to make sure your key, request and certs match.
