Shipping fees are not changed when deleting a product in "Products in your order" box

Hello,

I work with free shipping when the order total is higher than 50$.

When you first add more than 50$ in your cart, go to the checkout process you get an overview of the ordered products in the column on the right.

I noticed now that when you delete a product, and the total order amount becomes less thatn 50$ because of that, the shipping will still be free! It is not updated. Only when you still need to do extra steps it is recalculated, but if you the deletion in the last (payment) step, it is not!

Is this a BUG??

Thanks,

Mark

Hello mwouters!

The best way to offer a free shipping for order total more than X is by applying a cart promotion, If you do it via a promotion, everything is working properly and shipping cost is automatically updated after deleting a product from the cart.

  1. In the administration panel, go to Products > Promotions.
  2. Click the “Add cart promotion” button on the right.
  3. Complete the form in the “General” tab.
  4. Open the “Conditions” tab and click the “Add condition” button.
  5. Select the “Order subtotal” option in the opened select box, then select equal or greater in the opened select box and enter a desired value ($50) into the opened input box.
  6. Open the “Bonuses” tab and click the “Add bonus” button.
  7. Select Free shipping in the opened select box and select a necessary shipping method (for example, custom shipping method created in the Shipping and Taxes → Shipping methods) in the appeared drop-down list.
  8. Click the “Create” button.

Please try it out, it should help.
