Has anyone been able to successfully display prices including tax in the front end of the shopfront when product price does not include tax and tax is calculated on top of the price?
Our previous model of tax calculation was to input product prices including our 10% tax and have our tax methods set as “Price Includes Tax” - however we now need to move to having prices excluding tax and can’t seem to get the store to output the including-tax price in the right places.
We have the settings enabled “Display prices with taxes on category/product pages if the method of calculating taxes is based on a unit’s price” and “Display prices with taxes on cart/checkout pages if the method of calculating taxes is based on a unit’s price”. Both are checked for all storefronts in our Ultimate v3 installation, and I’ve tested it both with and without tax calculations based on default location, in a fresh store, and on the demo store. Our product prices are without tax, and our tax calculation method is not “Price Includes Tax” - so the prices are showing up on a product/category level with out any issues. However I can’t get the mini-cart amount or the unit price amount in the regular cart to use the including-tax price rather than the original price.
This is confusing our customers who add product x to their cart for $10.00 (price inc. tax), however the subtotal of the minicart shows up as $9.09 (price exc. tax) and the unit price in the cart shows as $9.09.
I assumed the “Display prices with taxes on cart/checkout pages if the method of calculating taxes is based on a unit’s price” setting would list the prices inc. taxes in the mini cart and upon checkout however this setting is having no effect on our storefront. If it doesn’t, I’m not sure what that setting is referring to.
Is this a bug anyone else is experiencing in v3 and/or Ultimate when using prices without tax included in the back end and when needing to output the price including tax to customers in your storefronts?

Thanks Flow - I came across that yesterday and changed it to unit price instead of subtotal, and now our registered customers with shipping addresses in the localisations the tax applies to get shown the correct prices across the board (in minicart, regular cart, etc).
However if shopping and adding products to cart as a non-registered guest the minicart and regular cart doesn't show prices inc. tax. Any ideas?
