5 days ago I purchased a Bugtreat template and after installing it I noticed a highlighted word on the front page that linked to malware style advertising. Investigating further I found each page on the site had one highlighted keyword that linked to a random advert (win an iPad etc).
When restoring the default template the advertising went away, when reinstalling the bugtreat template the malware would return. I then examined the blocks layout xml file and found calls for javascript and these calls were associated with every image on the template. For example, the top left logo would call for an image and then script
