Add category in English called MESSEDUPCODE with sEO addon messedupcode
now switch to french… change title to PASFORTFORT and SEO addon to pasforfort…
now you get both ok…
heres the messed up part…
go back to categories…
click the category → scroll to bottom (mass edit) i know it’s one entry… it’s for testing…
unselect ALL… select META DESCRIPTION - AND TITLE…
copy title in META DESCRIPTION…save…
now go back to categories… edit PASFORTFORT and look at SEO addon… it’s now .messedupcode-fr
so basically… since i lost about 9 hours of work with this can i charge you too ? since you charge us for everything we ask ?
or can someone please FIX YOUR BUGS this is something you guys induced in latest…‘PRODUCT_VERSION’, ‘3.0.6’);

Settings>Addons>SEO>Settings:
Use single URL for all languages = Checked
Show language in the URL = Unchecked
Use single URL for all languages = UNCHECKED…
you need to have french uri’s for google if content is in french… as any SEO guy would say… URI and DOMAIN match is a must…
so if im looking for badcoding, then i guess coding.com/badcoding-examples will come up alot better then scrap.com/mauvais-code…
the fact the option is available should allow us to use it… if not then remove it …
actually moded the category view to sEE seo name, and see where it changes as it does… ELSE no wonder this product is bad seo

i put a position on the main category list page… to reposition a category…
ALL SEO ADDON UrI's where CHANGED with -fr -en etc… i mean all my 400 categories and subcat's…

PLEASE FIX… this is getting PRETTY EXPENSIVE to work 8 hours a day to fix data that your bugs caused… i think mag… wouldnt be so lame after all
after 4 years… my project manager says i have over 4000 hours of these bugs created time sheets… that around 40K at 10$ an hour, which im not btw…
so i assume you guys are taking a look into it or do you want my ftp access ? which i will never use btw, and certainly not let anyone with these skills touch my farms…
I'm so glad I didn't take the upgrade leap to version 3 and am still running 2.25
I'll skip the entire 3 branch, even though my v3 ultimate shops are 95% ready and I spent many hours and money on it. 3 should never have been released the way it is. I just hope version 4 is better… and it does look a lot better from what I've seen.
I really hope the seo URL issues and the translation issues are resolved in csc4. These bugs are driving my staff up the wall.

what do you mean v4 ?
are they dropping grid etc ? wth is going on…you know what i recall , those little applications you used to buy for 8.99 that had updates (minor ones) every time you started them… and you where covered for those, but the major ones, once a month or 2 months you needed to pay for the upgrade fees…
so you where hooked into thinking theyre where lots of new features etc, with the small upgrades…that where fixing bugs, and you paid for the major upgrade thinking it's new stuff and better, yet it was only another way to finance a new bug fix team…
if 1 aint broke why make 2… and 3 and 4
actually tried beta 4… faster admin… they finally got the coders to use a framework… seems like symfony or something i recognize some stuff in there couldnt install had to hack the install files…
finally got it up, i need to export all items from 3.06 then import here ill let you know
update: seems you can’t export from 3.0.6 since you need a language field in 4.0 beta…unless you mod your export file your out of luck.
Also , tried export/import of language translations…no luck…nothing changed after a ?cc in admin guess i need to retranslate it all…
