Redactor jQuery editor for CS-Cart

Redactor is a very good look and working editor based on jQuery:

Redactor WYSIWYG html editor

I would love to see this implemented in CS-Cart. CKEditor has its issues.

Good call. I really like the look of it too, especially the claim that it is 8 x faster than tinyMCE and CKEditor. Nice features too.

It gets my vote.

Hey guys,

Great news! Redactor will be added as a default WYSIWYG editor in a next major CS-Cart release.

Do you mean cs-cart version 3.1.x? Thanks.

I do not see the ability to open a link in a popup box in Redactor. I hope we do not lose this important capability!

At first glance it appears to have a lot less features than the current editor in cs-cart. Let's not go backwards in functionality.

I presume CS-Cart will add this to the list of editors including TinyMCE and CKEditor? I would personally switch straight away to Redactor but not everyones needs are the same.

Yes, Redactor will be added as another WYSIWYG in CS-Cart 3.1 in addition to existent two. And Redactor will be used as a default editor in this version due to its speed, simplicity and beautiful appearance.

Those users who still need all the power of TinyMCE of CKEditor can easily switch to them via the Settings menu.

After I did change to Redactor it become as a default editor. And I try to change it to TinyMCE or CKEditor it doesn't move. I did several times even I clear all the caches but still it is not working and it keeps the Redactor.

Any idea how what is going on or maybe I am doing wrong,
