Thanks to one of our valuable clients, we have adjusted the New Arrivals add-on for CS-Cart Ultimate. And glad to announce that the add-on "New Arrivals for CS-Cart Ultimate" is ready.
It costs $79 for unlimited number of storefronts.

Features:
automatic filling of the "New arrivals" category according to the date of a product creation;
a setting to specify the time period during which a product is considered to be new;
a setting to turn on/off a label "New" near the new product image in a product grid.
The add-on purpose is to direct customers' attention to the brand-new products available in a store.

Yes, sure it is working for a single store. And if you decide to expand your store by adding additional storefronts, this add-on will still work for you.
This is a great addon that I can recommend to others. However, there is one thing that I would like to see improved:
The purpose of the addon is to give customers a place to see the newest products. But if a lot of new products are added, there is no way of seeing what products are new since you last viewed the category. Not unless its sorted by date.
Currently the default sort order is used. But as the category is for the Newest products, it should sort on date. Or at least have a setting to do so.
