I created an account at Google, and used the ftp details I got from them. But when running export, I only get "Error", nothing else, after the initial please wait 10 seconds.

Running RC version.

Not to important for me, but though I´ll let you know.

i have the same problem, it tells me its uploading then i receive an ftp error

It looks like ftp access is closed for web-user on your server. In this case you need to upload the file manually. It can be found in './var/compiled' directory.

I'm receiving the same exact issue

I was having the same problem. I contacted CS-Cart Support and BlueHost support and we resolved the problem. You need a dedicated IP address to send the ftp from CS-Cart. Below is the e-mail I received from Blue Host.

You need a dedicated IP address to make outgoing ftp connections. The cost for a dedicated IP is $30 per year ($2.50/mo prorated to the end of your agreement). If you would like to purchase the dedicated IP, please reply with either the password or the last 4 digits of your credit card number.
