Can I change the names of default order statuses without any complication?

CS-Cart's default order statuses never made much sense to me. If I have to check my assumptions on which order status means what in the manual, then it's going to be confusing for some of our customers.



For example, a more user friendly set of order statuses are:


  • Payment Received
  • Processing (when order is sent to warehouse/fulfillment)
  • Shipped
  • Complete or Delivered (when shipment has been confirmed by tracking as delivered)



    Anyways, my question is: Can I change the names of default order statuses without any complication? Our store is connected with Paypal and Amazon so perhaps there might be issues there when the payment processors are expecting a specific order status back after an event.

You can change the status names without any implications, as it is the order status ID which controls everything else such as payments, order e-mails, dashboard stats, etc.
