I think a map pricing mod would be great. There are products that certain manufacturers don't allow you advertise below a certain price. So have a a little link that says "Click to see price" would be great.

Some like amazon. here is an example.
http://www.amazon.co...80023584&sr=8-1

when you click the link "click to see price" it brings up a little popup with the pricing information.

Im sure that could be easily achievable

a new field under each product for "lowest display price"

then in the template, an if statement to see if your price is lower, if so display a link to a .tpl file and using thickbox mod could be really effective.

Not something I would use admittedly but something that could be added quite quick and very easy..

There is a code tweak that's been published in the forum that gives the admin the ability to substitute the price for "Call", or whatever message you want, but I think your idea is much better. I have several manufacturers that won't let us display the price. I'd like an easy way to do this. It would be awesome if you could set this option by manufacturer or category and/or sub-category, but still be able to override it on a individual product basis.

I'd be willing to kick in a few bucks to create this mod. Any other takers?
