Shipping on order-summary shows 0.00 if not logged in.

Hi all.

In my 3.xx PE store i use a flat shipping fee for all products. So far so good.

When im logged in as a user i can see the shipping cost in the order summary block on the checkoutpage.

When im not logged as if im a new user viewing his cart the shipping costs show €0.00 until i log in again and then it shows the correct ammount.

Anyone encountered this before and what can i do to solve this puzzle.

Thanks in advance,

This is a new shop not the one in the footer ;)

Hello Snuggertje,

Thank you for your message.

Shipping cost will not be displayed in this block until you specify your shipping address on the checkout page as long as shipping cost is calculated according to this address. When you log in to the storefront shipping cost is displayed in the block immediately as long as there is already a shipping address specified in the account and CS-Cart uses it for calculating shipping cost.

I hope it explains the situation.

Thank you.

OK, thanks for your reply, but what if i have just one flat fee i want to inform the customer about before he makes an account. i would like to show the standard shipping cost in the box at checkout so sum up what the client is going to pay for.

Is that in any way possible?

Regards.

Hello Snuggertje,

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately, some PHP code changes are required to be made to implement this feature. You can make them yourself or hire a third-party developer (here you can find a lot of offers from CS-Cart developers or consider our custom development service).

Thank you.
