I recently just started testing a few ads on a forum website. The graphic banners when clicked on will just take the user directly to the product page. Is there some simple way in CS-Cart 2.2.x that can track each click and overall see if they make a purchase?
Such as in the referring URL like www.domain.com/store/product_xyz.html but then add a tracking code to that like www.domain.com/store/product_xyz.html?ref=adcampaign1
Then just in CS-Cart I can see if that click lead to a purchase.
I do use other things like Google Analytics and AddThis … but not sure how to set them up (if even possible) to track those specific ad banner clicks to see if they lead to a purchase. On the website itself where I placed two ads, they have stats which will show clicks and impressions but that is it.
