This is painfull for adding manually related products in all products. Related products will works according to their keywords given in search words in product option, this might be time consuming and easy to work.

i have to same request
i have been using product analogues on v3.0.5 with good luck. not totally automated, but you can select the related products by using specific word for products you want associated. i'm using the paid version because i wanted the associated products without having to use the tabs
