email notification

hi,

i didn't notice that after i got order. the buyer didn't get any email notification. May anyone suggest, if using cs-cart. after your customer placing order. then the customer got an email notification for plaxing order? if yes, can anyone tell where is the setting?

Yes, a customer should receive an e-mail message if the Notify customer check box is selected for the necessary order status:


  1. In your CS-Cart administration panel, go to Orders > Order Statuses.
  2. Create a new order status by clicking the Add status button or set up the existing one by clicking on the Edit link of the desired status.
  3. In the opened window, select the Notify customer check box and click the Save button.

We are having challenges, please help. We have opened tickets with the host provider and allowed the ip address specifically of the server that is hosting cs-cart. We have tried having emails sent to a third party address like yahoo or gmail, still does not work. Our settings are as follows in the print screen, can you please help us?
