can someone please tell me where to edit the vendors Privileges.
I went to user groups and edited the “Vendors Administrators” group. However, sweet nothing changes when I select certain parts.

What type of privileges do you require to give your vendors?
Hello jp1981!
It seems that you do everything right but you should know that not all privileges work for Vendors. For example, privileges from the Look and feel section (edit blocks, etc) don't work for vendors. There also may be some others privileges that don't work.

Our Vendors only need these:
Import and export data
Manage shipping
View shipping
Manage catalog
View catalog
Change order status
Manage order statuses
Manage reports
View reports
View orders
View payouts
We don't want them to have any access to anything else, as they don't require it.
Here is the thing though, if I change the privileges under the user group, the signed up vendors still have the old vendor privileges.
I then have to manually go to the signed up vendor, edit the user and mark the Vendor Administrator as active. See image attached.
Does this sound right?
CS cart support actually provided me with some code that I can insert so the vendors automatically get marked active.
I am just not sure if the above method is the standard way of doing this?

This would be a very helpful, since most vendors dont need half the options available to them now. I will be watching this thread.
I have received the edited fn.companies.php file from A CS cart member and it now works 
Once the vendor signs up and we activate them, he automatically falls into the Vendor Administrator Group.
I am not sure if I am allowed to share the file here?
