No Joke..This has to be in the next release

You fellas as CS have got to added secondary categories to the mass edit feature. The process of setting this attribute for my products has taken me over a month and I’m not even half way finished. That’s about x400 the cost of the software.

And your product import/export feature is useless unless it includes all of the products data. You know like features, options, categories, secondary images …etc. There’s quite a bit more but I’d kiss the ground if I could just get that.

I don’t care to see a single new option in the next release, just fix the problems that seem to cripple the current release.

Amen to that.

Amen to that too. I have been quoted $300 for this as a mod by CS

and keep putting off adding some of my products as they need categorising.

1000 in total already in the cart but in-active, but as you say it will take forever to do without a mass edit feature.

Ive had a few attempts at doing it myself, but no success as yet :frowning: Ill work it out unless CS actually decide its going in.

Yes, we urgently need an import/export MOD… one like you can find in JShop Server 2 (that I’m actually dropping to use CS-Cart… CS has many other features than JS…BUT hasn’t an high quality import/export feature…).

Yes…agree with this request of reworked import-export module.

Also the post whishlist of Palmtop describe the feature

Nothing like a simple mod that cost more than the software itself. I hope that critical needs are not withheld from update so that were forced to purchase a mod. I know that sounds cinical but you never know.

Im sure CS wont hold back… They probably will put their prices up a little for new customers though, as they did with there last update. Personally I wouldnt blame them.

Re Import / Export mod. I think this is in their best interest so im sure it will be done for the next release, think about it, if they want to start taking customers from other systems, they have to figure out how to get the data in from other carts, making a transition very easy and enticing new business.

We badly need this mod as well. The import/export feature is worse than most of the free, open source modules for Oscommerce and Zencart.
