Hi we have v3.0.3 installed, is there anyway to show the latest post from our wordpress blog in a block?
Or is there an addon out there for it?

This is a nice idea, and 90% sure is possible. I will look into it if you could give me more details on what you need exactly. Better with a screenshot.
Of course if possible, I will make an addon which will answer your requirements, but the addon will not be free. Let me know of your price expectations for such an addon?
