Simple way to Add Zopim Live Chat to your cs-cart V3

It’s important to have a online support live chat gadget on your ecommerce site. When clients got some question, they can ask you and get answers quickly. This increase the convertion rate.



I find a easy way to add zopim to your site, please follow these steps:

  1. register and get your live chat gadget code from zopim.com.
  2. go to your ADMIN–design–template editor–skins–basic–customer–index.tpl
  3. edit the index.tpl, find at the end of the code page, place the zopim code before this tag.
  4. Login your zopim dashboard, you can edit the settings, but for free user, there is limits for 1 triiger per time and more…
  5. Below if the code should looks like and its position in index.tpl.

    If you use a custom theme, there may be be some different.

Looks good although costs per month I think I saw 20 per month, I use Stardevelop live help drywall zone dot com to see in action, also has the embedded chat like the one on that website to the lower right and is embedded type which seems to be the way things are going any more but only a one time purchase and free lifetime upgrades. I have used mine for 7 years and it is really a great tool
