x-cart multivendor or pro as they call it is based on their previous architecture (4.0)
This version and architecture has been declared end of life, and they are working on their next architecture 5.0
If you chose x-cart you would be choosing an obsolete product !! This should be reason enough to go for cs-cart.
I myself did an extensive research while selecting a multivendor platform and zeroed down on cs-cart.
There actually isn't any other multivendor solution available apart from x-cart and thus cs-cart is the obvious choice.
Go for it, you won't regret. I chose it an year ago !!
