We want to offer free shipping if cart subtotal is greater than a set amount but calculate and display Real Time shipping costs for our other shipping options. We also want the shipping costs to be recalculated on any change in cart subtotal.
I've read the KB method and it does not yield the results we need. It assigns a fixed amount for shipping for totals below the threshold, which is total unacceptable. I put in a request to have a modification done but the response was to upgrade to Professional Edition. From what I can see it looks like it works the same way in the Pro edition. Can someone confirm?
This is a very common practice so I can't understand the lack of support for it.
Has anyone found a way to accomplish what we need?
