Suggestions for a Rotating Banner for 3.x

Hi all. I am looking for a non-flash rotating banner for my home page that provides a fade option and works with the latest version of cs. I installed the ccc.slider, but the “appearance type” option has been replaced with a template option in the home page banner block and ccc is not an available option. Does anyone have this working in professional 3.0?

I am also looking at seonid and webgraphiq - both look great and are very reasonable. Any thoughts?

I really like the one that is available at http://www.codingstaff.com/products/cs-cart-addons/js-banner

It doesn't say that it will work with 3.0.1 though, but their customer service is great, so if you ask them, I'm sure they'd upgrade it.

I've also heard good things about Seonid's, but I've never actually used it.

Webgraphiq's functions really well, but the options are more limited compared to the other two.

I hope that helps,

Brandon

Thanks so much Brandon! I'll check out js.banner. Love your website by the way.

Cool and thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it.

Hello Brandon!

We are now in the process of upgrading CS-Cart JS Banner to CS-Cart 3.0! It should be available next week!

Also thank you for your comment about our service! We really appreciate it!

Thomas,

To be honest with you , I really can't remember. I know I purchased the addon from you for a client. It was a really nice addon and worked really well, but it had less features than coding staff's. One really important thing to note though is that the last time I used the addon was like a year ago. I'd imagine that there are more features built in now then what there was then.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock your addon. It is a great addon and I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks,

Brandon

Hello guys!

Coding Staff CS-Cart JS Banner is now compatible with CS-Cart 3.0!

Keep in mind most of these add-ons are NOT multilanguage.

The only one that is is the one from seonid, and it's a nice one too! It can show different sliders for different languages.

Just a little update. I just installed seonids auto updater (it updates their add-ons automatically!) and installed their new slider add-on called headlines.

This is now by far the easiest slider add-on I've tried (and I've tried all of the above and more). You can configure just about anything. Very cool… and best of all, it's fully multilanguage unlike all the others I tried.
