Problems with Martfox again!

Hi

Is anyone else having issues with Martfox? Our site was down for over 24hours Thursday / Friday and this was apparently due to them suspending a user and having to change NS settings.

But got up this morning and yet again our emails our down and although I can access site at the moment, Host-Tracker is showing the server is down in most locations. I then go to access the Martfox homepage to submit a ticket and instead of the Martfox homepage, the page says “This Account has been Suspended” - which would seem to imply that Martfox's own website has been suspended!!

Does anyone know what's going on please?

After the issues in January and now this we are definitely ready to move hosts!!

Thank you

Emma

I see but there is no suspended page… http://www.martfox.com/

Thank you for checking - maybe it's a local issue (not sure where you are but I'm in the UK). This is what i see when I go to www.martfox.com.

Not sure if the image works though but it's still saying “This Account has been supsended”

Yes they are having some problems. I'm actually working on a site that is hosted with them right now and am having troubles getting it to come up.

It's been kind of an ongoing thing lately.

Thanks,

Brandon

Thanks Brandon.

Martfox have just responded to a post on Facebook saying “The NS propagation is not 100% finished over the internet. It's possible that somewhere are some connecting interuptions so the process takes longer.”

I'm not quite sure I understand what the issue is really seeing as the server was fine all yesterday.

When they are good they are good…but when they are bad…boy are they naughty 8) 8)

why can't they send us an email to let us know whats happening, It has cost me £££'s over this weekend. A simple text or email to my non martfox address would do. I have to ditch them at some point.

Just had an email saying all my accounts have been moved to a new server and new ip addresses… I have not had any down time lately though

I totally agree with you Sam - it's the lack of communication and forewarning that is my issue. We are also looking to change as enough is really enough.

I have also had an email saying all Martfox accounts have been moved to a server so need to change my NS for my domain. I'm not clear how this affects our dedicated IP address though which we need for our SSL certificate - fingers crossed there are no more problems!

New IP should not be a problem for your SSL.

Thanks Flow

Hi

Is anyone else whose account has been moved by Martfox having problems follow the move?

I'm getting parse errors as well permission issues (failure to open streams), fatal errors (allowed memory size exhausted) and files not being found and no idea why! Never had any issues prior to the move.

I've submitted a ticket but just want to know really whether it's just us or whether there is a general problem with the new server.

Thank you!

Emma

been in contact with martfox, still not sorted. Our website worked the once this afternoon and is down again. Email has not worked since Saturday 1pm. Not looking good for my cusomters!

Thanks San - it is really frustrating isn't it? We've had problems since Thursday and both our sellers and customers are getting annoyed, as are we! Martfox are also investigating.

We couldn't get our emails to work at all on the new server using the domain as mail server (which had previously worked fine) so have changed mail servers to use 1&1 who we use for our email service and domain registration.

Martfox have resolved it. My attempted logins this afternoon banned by IP address. Now it's unblocked it's working fine. Just testing my email service now … my email account seems to be missing from the cpanel. I have re-created it and it working. Does this mean all email since the downtime have been lost?

I woke up yesterday to an account suspended message - I opened a ticket and they sorted it pretty quick but an email to let me know would have been appreciated. Since the move I have issues with my site - some things in the backend aren't working and some blocks aren't displaying on the frontend. As I'd been playing around with Smartoptimiser and it had caused problems I'd assumed this was the cause but since then I've uninstalled smartoptimiser and reset my .htaccess file to its original state but the problems persist. I'm now wondering if they were caused by the move because the errors I'm getting are the same fatal errors (allowed memory size exhausted) that ejfear mentions. I have to say I'm losing patience.
This has been fixed yesterday.

OPened a ticket with Martfox and they responded very quickly - most issues now resolved and I'm hoping the last of them will be shortly.

They have fixed those issues but now having more issues as we are unable to upload images - Martfox investigating in conjunction with CS-Cart. It's just so frustrating that we are having all these problems simply due to Martfox moving our account to a different server.
