Alt-team Add-On: "FAQ" add-on

Dear friends!

We are glad to announce new CS-Cart add-on from Alt-team - FAQ" add-on.


This add-on allows users to submit questions and answers about a product in the “FAQ” tab on product details page. The whole process allows to get useful information about products in a question-answer form. As a result it helps customers to take a decision about the purchase. Store administrator has a total control over FAQ content.

Hello, vidan!

Please, check demo. When completing “New question” form in the storefront, customer sees “Your e-mail” field, this field is not mandatory. If a customer enters his e-mail in this field, he will receive notifications about answers to his question. See (?) next to “Your e-mail” field.

If I make 2 average sales because of this add-on (that will also create many SEO friendly sentences and thus bring new customers) I’ve already got my investment back.



You know who always wins monopoly? The guy who invests most in the beginning and nearly goes bankrupt. And then sweeps away the competition :)

I have many addons from alt team and think all are vfm.

Seems like a fair price to me, if you need it.

  1. This addon should be able to enabled for all products by default. Currently you have to enable this for each product, which waist a lot of time.


  2. It would be great if you could make a conversational style Q&A. customers can ask another questions about your answer and all under one thread.

    It can be bulk assigned to many products at once or all products in one category I beleive.

Just got an answer from Alt team.



"Best way for it is the bulk edit. It is necessary to display 100 products on the products page (admin.php?dispatch=products.manage) select all checkboxes and choose the “edit” action, check the “FAQ” checkbox and click the “modify selected” button. "

if you want to do more than 100 products at a time copy the link from the 100 link and paste into browser then change the 100 to 200 300 etc, be aware doing 1000s at a time will slow down or on some servers may crash

It would be better if an email is sent to the administrator after customer asked a question.



by the way, how do I make the email field mandatory?
