Hi
I'm moving server, and have started a clean installation of CS Cart on my new server (version 2.0.10 which was the version I purchased). I want to upgrade this version to version 2.2.2 (which is the current version on my old server). However, the only upgrade showing in the Upgrade Center is 2.0.10 - 2.0.11. I have refreshed packages list and I have also deleted the Upgrade folder in /httpdocs/var, but this doesn't change anything.
All permissions have been changed correctly (I think) - /var & subdirectories = 777.
Settings in the Upgrade center :
Updates server = http://updates.cs-cart.com
Directory = /httpdocs
After I upgrade from 2.0.10 to 2.0.11 it says “Forbidden…You do not have permission to access this document”. If I then go back to the Upgrade Center, I can still see the upgrade 2.0.10 to 2.0.11 available!
Can anyone help please?
Cheers
Mike
Some of the info for updates has changed. I don't believe (could be wrong) that they send info on all the upgrades that are available anymore, just the next one. I think this has to do with how they've transitioned their licensing.
Why are you upgrading from a fresh install versus simply copying your old site to the new? Seems to me that you have 2 options that are much better than the one you've chosen:
- Copy your existing site to new location
- Request cs-cart give you a copy of 2.2.2 installation archive if in fact your license is valid for that version.
