Paying vendors automatically

Hi,

I see that on CS-cart, there is an option to view vendor account balance and to register a payout. However, when you register a payout, nothing happens to the vendor account but it is logged in CS-cart that a payment has been made to the vendor.

I would still have to manually make the payment to the vendor.

Is it possible to make the payment directly to the vendor’s paypal account when a product is purchased?

Eg: product cost: $10

vendor commission: 20%

$8 goes to merchant account

$2 goes to our account

immediately when the customer makes the payment through the website front end.

Also, how do I capture the merchant’s paypal account/bank details?

This is a GREAT question and one I'm researching as well. I just started researching Paypal Adaptive Payment Services and Amazon's Flexible Payment Services to see if there is any way to accomplish this.

Great, please let us know what you find.

There is one big feature is missing

When we add product it multivendor should ask for vendor SKU number and the SKU number we needed to display on our website when the order comes in it should automatically send an email to the specific vendor not the price listed on our web site but the cost which we are buying that merchandise from that vendor, I am not sure if that multivendor addition design to work for that but I am looking for that feature as we buy from multiple different vendors and we so the invoice vendor will receive for new orders will consider as PO.

Did you find out if there is a way to pay the vendor directly? I did not see any way to gather the vendor's payment information. What am I missing?

Hi Guys,

Yes, I checked about the direct payments to the vendors and it looks though paypal adapative payment is the option to go. I checked with CS helpdesk support and they offered a quote to make this addon as a plugin or files modified. Please check with the helpdesk or may be we can share the cost if they agree.

Thx

Hi,

So will this allow the customer to pay the vendor direct and we just take a commission fee? Or is this a way to pay the vendors their commission after we collect the money?

Best,

Ann Marie

I would like an add-on that does this:

Each vendor can add there own Pay-pal account to there vendor account to process payments.

When a customer orders, the payment goes directly to the vendors paypal account, minus whatever set commission rate I decide. That commission balance goes to my paypal or to whatever payment processor I choose.

If the customers order contains products from multiple vendors, the payment is split to each vendor accordingly.

Ideally there would be a fraud protection in place for each vendor as well. Or some method to ensure the payments are legitimate and not fraudulent.

Does paypal offer a solution like this? Or does CS-Cart have an add-on for this method?

Has there been a response to this question at all? I'm surprised that more people are not inquiring about this.
