Google Suddenly Dropped My Product Listing Pages. Help!

Hi Everyone,

We seriously need your help. For the past year or so, ever since our company began seriously working on SEO, we've been able to rank very well for our long tail keywords.

As of the past two weeks (so it seems), Google seems to have dropped us like a hot potato. But only certain types of pages. For example, we have product pages which lead to individual product pages. We used to rank very high for the product pages which is what we wanted. Now the product pages are completely gone while the individual product pages are still showing up, although not too high.

For example we used to rank in the top 3 for the keyword “royal doulton carlyle” which is the name of a pattern of china that we carry. It used to bring up this page: http://www.classicreplacements.com/china/royal-doulton/carlyle.html. Now all of these “product pages” have fallen off google with only the “individual product pages” still occasionally showing up, such as this one: http://www.classicreplacements.com/royal-doulton-carlyle-5-piece-place-setting.html.

Organic search is crucial to our business and we've fallen completely off the map. Is it cs-cart related? Meta tag issues? Why just these types of pages? We don't do any black hat, all we do is on-site content, blog, and links. Can someone out there help???

You're running an old version of Sno Rocket's sitemap generator and it hasn't updated the file since January. Hence, google sees the data as too old and stale and so it has thrown it away.

I have a theory as to why Google may have dropped the general product pages and I'm very interested in your thoughts about it, as well as anyone else who'd care to comment.<br />

The general product page contains a list of all the products in that category. Considering that there can be 20-30 products and each product name contains the keyword in the title, is it possible that google sees this page as keyword spaming/stuffing?<br />
<br />
For example the Royal Doulton Carlyle page I referenced above has the words "Royal Doulton Carlyle" about 20 times, in the names of the individual products. Does google see this as keyword spamming? Can this be the issue? (although it's been like this for years, so why google would suddenly take a dislike to it, i dont know). I look forward to your insight on this.
