I have signed up with Authorize.net to process credit card payments through my CS-cart website. I am just having a few issues. I am using Quickbooks Merchant Services and need to link them to my Authorize.net account. Although no one at Quickbooks can give me the information that I need.
So if anyone has used quickbooks and authorize.net to process their credit card payments, I could use a little direction.
Authorize.net tells me I need a Platform & Configuration # from Quickbooks. Quickbooks just directs me to http://developer.intuit.com and says the information I need is on the site. I am not a developer and I have no idea what I am looking for. I feel like I am just spinning my wheels and getting the run-around. It shouldn't be this difficult.
So does anyone have any idea where to find a Platform & Configuration for quickbook merchant services? Or even what this is?
Any help is so greatly appreciated!
Mindy
I think I got it figured out. Just called back and spoke to someone else. Took me over 2 hours to do something that should have taken about 15 minutes…grrr

Please share how you resolved this… I am having the same issue and Intuit is no help.
I was able to get my CSR and signed certificate and I loaded them on my server, but I am not able to get a connection ticket from Intuit/Quickbooks??
When I go to http://merchantaccount.ptc.quickbooks.com/j/sdkconnection/connectionList?appid=[My_App_ID] (and replace the [My_App_ID) with my actual appl ID I am not able to log in. But I am able to log into my MerchantCenter.intuit.com so I know my UN and PW are correct???
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated

Hi Bob,
We also have a shopping cart using Authorize.net for the payment gateway, and Intuit Merchant Services as the merchant account.
Hopefully this works for you:
Have your Authorize.net Payment Gateway ID ready (log in to your account, Account → Merchant Profile → Payment Gateway ID is on top)
Also have your Intuit Merchant Number ready (probably 16 digits long)
- Call Authorize.net support at 877-447-3938
- Press 2 to update processor
- When the rep answers, they will ask for your Payment Gateway ID
- Tell the rep you would like to connect your Intuit Merchant Account to your Authorize.net gateway, and tell them that your merchant account is on the “FDR Omaha Platform”
- note you'll need to be the Authorize.net account owner, or be able to get that person on the phone to verify security questions -
- They should then ask you for your 15 or 16 digit merchant number that Intuit gave you, and then connect the accounts.
Hopefully this helps, I struggled for a couple of days before I finally got this info from a tech at Intuit. Glad to pass this info along.
Cheers,
Paul
