2.2.1 Shipping Problem When Product Flagged As Free Shipping

As the topic says in 2.2.1 if you have products that are set as free shipping (I sell licenses for software for example) when you try to checkout with a product flagged as FREE SHIPPING, the cart won’t let you. It gives you that same warning that no shipping options are available in your area etc and halts the checkout.



This is a MAJOR bug…can you please provide a code/fix we can add to fix immediately, this is a show stopper.



I can change my product to charge shipping and then it works, obviously people are not going to be happy paying shipping for something that is digitally transferred.



Disabling shipping in the cart altogether will also NOT solve the issue, same warning.



It does not matter if you are logged in or not.



Please advise ASAP

Read a few other threads, same issue with 'no available shipping' methods etc.

I know there are other threads, posted in them too…just pissed, there should be a fix by now…this has been the “upgrade” from hell…

No, I am sorry if that is what has occurred, I felt this was a bit of a different issue, I see people posting about the shipping warning, but they can log in and make it go away, this problem is specifically in regards to products flagged as FREE SHIPPING and won't allow checkout whatsoever. So I made a new post, I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else, we are all frustrated with the bugs and I am concerned I am losing customers so trying to rush a solution.

No issue, just want it clarified so that others don't skip over the topic entirely.

I suggest you check with CS-Cart directly as I recall issues in 2.1.4 that they fixed that sound similar.
