Im currently working on a login share for kayako
if anybody has done this already please let me know, to save time…
I currently have it so my users can log in ok, from CS-Carts member database however am having an issue if they post anonymously then the kayako login doesnt work, ie it doesnt add a new member to the CS cart database.
If not im sure I will figure it out soon and will share it with you all
there was talk a very long time ago about Kayako integrating this for us by providing an option to share the cs login…I don’t know if this got anywhere…
All I can find on kayako forums is a few posts from members of this forum
Im getting there with it anyway, Ive been hacking away at the OSC one and only really have one query to sort out

Yes I do have this working, I will add the instructions / files to here shortly.
It still isnt 100% but it works quite well (or did until I upgraded kayako) 1 or 2 small fixes left to do.

Ok heres what I have so far…
Im not using it at the moment, but it successfully lets me log in with my CS-Cart details etc…
I would be greatful if you would also post any bugs you find etc as to be honest, Ive ripped the OSC one…

Ive put it their due to this forum corrupting archives.
Installation is quick and easy.
1 Issue I do see, is that if an autoresponse is set up which includes the users log in details this may not work correctly
I will test more later, im not sure but just sprung into my head

If you have CS set up as its own Template Group
then Im sure for anonymous users, you can edit the email template and make it divert to the “default” template group by appending ?&group=default to the url in the email.
This should work, but I wont be trying it until later this evening.

Unfortunatly the login share wont keep the user logged in between kayako and cs-cart because theres no session handling, but it will let them log in with the shops details.

yes, certainly means they dont have to register twice on the same website
Once I work out the sessions, I can set it in CS-Cart so kayako will auto log in, heres hoping anyway

Kayako have just released a login share with CS-Cart

Kayako integrated my CS-cart program to share login ID and password of the CS-cart when I puchased the Kayako program. Kayako provides CS-cart Share login module now and ask them if you already purchased the Kayako.
