I logged into cscart this morning and is said there was an upgrade. I went to the upgrade center and nothing showed up. I don't want to be the first up upgrade anyway.

Same here. It's displaying "No upgrades currently available" even though the orange banner states "A new version of CS-Cart is available! Please update now."
Yes the cache was cleared.

Yes the cache was cleared.
The upgrade pack is ready, but now it is available only to a limited number of users in an interval. The upgrade will be available in full within the next 24 hours.

Same here but I just re-downloaded 5 minutes ago and it worked - SnoYes. The zip file is corrupt. Files do not extract.

I see what they did. They zipped up the TAR file. In the past they just zipped up the files and directory.
Zipping up the TAR requires two unzipps to get the files back.

Do I have to apply the 2.1.2 and then go 2.1.3?

Just downloaded 2.1.3 from the helpdesk. The problem is still there. You zipped up a tar file. I added .tar at the end of the file and was able to extract it.
You might want to look at your zip file again.

This might be a dumb question but I'm fairly new to this level of website complexity.
I have modified a couple of things such as manually moved the shopping cart button from the top bar over to the right side. And I've added some custom div's of phone numbers into the header.
Can I ask what stuff is un-done, or I guess a better way to ask is what files are overridden during an upgrade like this? Do I need to be prepared and save copies of the files that I've made these modifications to?
