Kayako 4 LoginShare script

Has anyone developed a Kayako v4 LoginShare script for CS-Cart yet?

Please share

I need this as well.

Below is a link to a free loginshare script that works with CS-Cart 2.x.

http://forge.kayako…../php-loginshare

I don’t know what’s going on with the author but he never replied to any of my posts or emails with regards to updating the script for use with CS-Cart 3.x.

After lost of trial and error, I tweaked the script so it works with CS-Cart 3.x. The files are attached below

have you got this working where it will create a new account in cs-cart as well?

I'm sorry for the late reply. For some reason, I'm not being notified about replies even though that setting is ticked in this forum's CP.

To answer your question… No, this script, as is, does not create accounts for CS-Cart. It simply looks in the CS-Cart database to see if a user exists, when that user attempts to login to Kayako. If he does, he gets added to the Kayako database so it's not a true two-way login script.

I'm not the author of that script. I simply edited it so it now works with CS-Cart 3.x since the author seems to have abandoned it.

I used this script as a starting point to make a better loginshare script for my site. It works on the same principle as does the original script. The CS-Cart database is the master but my script creates a CS-Cart account when someone creates a ticket or a Kayako account and the CS-Cart database is queried when a user logins to Kayako. This way, a user has one login for both systems.

It took a lot of time, trial and error because you have to edit a few core files and tweak some templates such as registration, forgot password and user profile. Now I know why developers charge $150-$300 to create a loginshare.

Does this work with CS-Cart 3 Ultimate?

I don’t use Ultimate so I did not test for compatibility. Why don’t you test it yourself and report back :)

If it does not work, a simple edit to the database query is probably all that would be needed to make it work.
