Hi
Does anyone know of a simple Java based 3 or 4 image rotation / fade display I can use inside the html box in CS-Cart. It needs to be iphone (none Flash) friendly, and be as small iin file size (scripts) as possible.
I have bought the GZ slide show for CS from www.12leaves.com, but the js file is HUGE, 165K!!. WTF? I think they have just dropped a bogo all things to all programs JS file called jquery-1.4.2.js into the program. I can’t believe it takes 6,000 lines of code to run a small 3 image rotation. Come on 12 leaves, we are web guys, we need SMALL file sizes, it’s everything…
This is a nice slideshow that is free.

Would you be willing to list the steps you used to integrate this with CS-Cart.
I’ve tried with serveral Jquery slider/gallery scripts and I don’t believe I understand how to add a new JS where the core script loads it.
I’ve added references to new files in both scripts.tpl and style.tpl but they don’t show up as loaded even with the {literal} tags.
I’d appreciate it.

I don’t use nivo on my cs-cart sites, as we had a previous solution before I was aware of nivo, but nivo’s jquery based sliders, are very very nice, and I do use them on a few other websites, with great success.
I also agree on the time to integrate it, nivo is very easy to use.
Could you provide a little insight into the intricacies you faced when implementing the application that you implemented?
I found a FREE addon at http://cscartconnect.com/ and was able to gain some insight.
Thanks to all who contribute here.
Never seen that site before. Some pretty neat free addons.

I tried their addon like Alertpay & Facebook, none of them work. Did you try one of them ?
No I did not yet. But it seems like the OP did.
