[SIZE=3]We are glad to announce the release of CS-Cart v2.1.2 Multi-Vendor beta.[/SIZE]
You know that we are planning to release CS-Cart Multi-Vendor in early November. Now we are at the stage of testing.
We do believe that only users can define how convenient it is to work with the product, and we decided to bring in our most active clients.
At the moment we have Multi-Vendor edition v2.1.2-beta available, and we suggest you take part in its testing.
Five most active clients will get a license for Multi-Vendor free of charge. The main criterion will be the importance of the bugs found and their number.
You can post bugs to the Bugtracker at http://bt-mve.cs-cart.com, but first you need to register if you don’t have account yet.
To post a feature request, please use the “Feature requests” category. Please pay attention to the bugs that have already been posted.
Try to describe bugs in more detail. Screenshots are always welcome!
New section to control the account balance has been added.
Please have a look at it in section Orders->Vendor account balance. There, you can control all the money received for orders and paid to vendors as well as debts to vendors basing on the commissions for a given period.
A commission to be paid by vendor is specified in his profile.
Also, on the order statuses page, you can define which orders with which statuses to display on the balance page.
Vendor administrator can be created automatically by selecting the “Create administrator account” during vendor creation.
Also, there are two new add-ons:
1. Catalog mode
Using this addon, you can set vendor products to be displayed only in the catalog mode with a direct link to the vendor’s site. Such products cannot be purchased.
After the add-on is installed, the “Enable Catalog Mode” check box will appear on the vendor profile page.
2. Product premoderation
You can use this add-on to approve/disapprove vendor products before they are added to the catalog.
After the add-on is installed, the “Product approval” link will appear in the Catalog tab. On the Product approval page, the administrator can manage store products using three statuses: “approve”, “disapprove”, “pending”.
On the vendor page, there are two check boxes:
“Products require prior approval” - All products added by vendor will be hidden until the administrator approves them;
“Approve product info updates” - Any change of product information requires an approval by the administrator.
Note: Sales reports & Promotions functionalities are not supported at the moment. These functionalities will become available in the near feature.

При включении модуля catalog mode вылетает на ошибку синтаксиса в 51 строке cscart_v2.1.2\addons\catalog_mode\func.php похоже на лишний пробел между ? и : если убрать его то включение модуля работает

The main changes introduced to the functionality since the post about the first beta release was submitted:
A new functionality: “Apply for a vendor account”. You can find the settings of this functionality in the administrator area: Administration → Settings → Vendors.
The “Apply for a vendor account” link was added to the ‘my account’ block on the storefront.
Now users can apply for a vendor account.
The administrator can see new request after logging in (as in the product predmodaration add-on).
After changing the status of a vendor, vendors will receive notification emails.
Also, the ‘vendor’ select box above the main menu tabs has been improved. Now it works using quick search.
