Manual Secure checkout - Ajax hang in step 1 or step 3

Due To My Hosting server settings, I can’t activate CS-cart secure checkout feature, because CS-cart can’t detect https using PHP _Server variables and manual secure https cookie will cause browser come out secure page redirect warning…lol

I changed CS-cart checkout scripts to run manual secure checkout and It works fine with CS-cart demo data. When I used my production template, my ajax hang in step 1 with anonymous quest checkout or step 3 with member checkout. No action was responded when clicking ‘next step’ or ‘continue’ button.

Any ideasto debug with ajax, or expert suggestions for implementing manual secure checkout???

I’m having the same issue, but only on stage 3 shipping/payment. Did you ever come up with a solution?

Nope…

Contacted Tech support 3 weeks ago, but NO response.

Got new https secure connection via setcookie scripts from CS-Cart support this morning. Right now I can use all CS-cart secure features. I don’t have any Ajax hang in step 1 or step 3 problems during Secure checkout page.

Can you share this?

I have the same problem.

Any solution?

I’ve had the problem with Checkout hanging at step 2 and not progressing to Step 3. What I found out was that the customer was only adding a Shipping Address and not a Billing Address. The customer has to have a Billing Address. I had Shipping displaying first.

The site is for internal use and no payments are being processed. That is why they were only completing the Shipping info. I would like to have the Billing Address completely removed, but I can’t since this stops the customer from progressing if they didn’t fill in Billing Address info.

i am having a similar problem…

if someone checks the box that says use billing address for shipping… it grays out all the boxes but won’t let you go any further in the checkout…

if you manually fill in the shipping address it works fine
