My annual state and local annual sales and use tax return is (long) overdue and I need to file by tomorrow.
I don’t know what my options are to isolate and find the data i need, other than going line by line and counting it all manually. Any info anyone can provide n how to go about this is greatly appreciated (and desperately needed!)
I need:
Gross Sales (tax not included)
Gross Sales in NY State
Period 3/1/09-2/28/2010
Export all to excel and there have a function that calculates your tax overall…
You can always also run some SQL queries on DB.

ecb1 I am also in NY. Do you mind telling me your method of exporting and calculating gross, product sales, exempt, taxable sales, and taxes paid? I had oscommerce and I had a beautiful monthly report and yearly and it made life easy but with cs-cart I'm stuck.
