Image Verification for Registration & spam



I have noticed that every couple of months or so I get spam registrations from a .ru address.



First, what are they up to?



Next, does setting up image verification for registration solve the problem?



I am currently going through my user list manually to delete the spam, but I would like to keep the situation under control going forward.

What CS-Cart version do you use? Did you install Google recaptcha?

Google reCaptcha was released in 4.5.1 version. If you use older version, you can find several free solutions on the marketplace

Yes at least activate the CS-Cart captcha.
I am amazed you haven't been flooded with spam registrations.

I do wish that Google reCaptcha would dump 'street signs' though. I can never get the right answer first time.
