eBay Plugin

Hi Everyone,

I really really like CS-Cart, however there is one thing that I am missing with CS Cart and that is an plugin for eBay.

We use eBay a lot to place auctions online and a plugin would be more then great. Then you can administer eBay in you CS Cart backend…

Michael

since you are talking about “we” i’m sure one of you could make

an addon for this? especially since you know how it works…

(there isnt a plugin for this yet a.f.a.i.k.).

its a very good idea b.t.w.!

This would take CS-Cart to another level.

In the same token, it would be really helpful to be able to generate Amazon, Nextag and Yahoo files the same way we can generate Google Base. I’ve seen this in other cart solution and from an SEO point of view, this is very useful. Plus I don’t think it’s very hard to create these features, it’s the same principle as the Google base export functionality.

I think you expect just too much from cs-cart developers. There simply cannot be all in one solution with all must have for everyone.

Have you read:

Pay money and you’ll get what you want.

Hi Darius, I understand where you’re coming from. But for generating feeds to other online outlets such as Ebay, Yahoo, Nextag or Amazon, it’s pretty much the same principle, the export function for Google Base and Froogle already exists in CS-Cart. The only thing that changes are the CSV fields that need to be defined differently for the exported file.

And yes I am willing to pitch in if the cost is reasonable as it would be very useful to imprive my SEO… I already offered to pitch in for the Sales SMS notification upgrade to 1.3.5 as well.

If it’s ok to name othr cart brands, I can share here a demo version of how it is used in other cart solutions.

I was just making a suggestion, may for SP4? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d also pitch in for this

This thread seems to have gone from someone looking for an eBay plugin to a discussion about SEO features. I’m seeking a quote from CS-Cart developers to build a plugin to allow integration with eBay so that products can be sold via this service.

If you are interested in helping to fund this feature, please send me a private message so that we can take up further discussions. I think this would be a great addition to this software.

William

Whether it’s solely for an ebay plugin or for a more comprehensive solution tu upload feeds to several online shops, I will pitch in. This feature can really boost sales for a store.

Knowmad, check your inbox, I just sent you a message.

Count me in

Glad to see all the interest in an eBay addon. I’ve requested the quote from CS-Cart and they’ve asked me to setup an eBay account for them to test (not sure why they can’t do that for themselves but whatever). I’ll get the account ready today and then follow-up with them. Hopefully we’ll get a response this week.

I agree! And Amazon addon too

yes, me to like this ebay mod/plug

It has been a couple of months since you set up the ebay account for CS. Do you have any update as to whether there will be a mode for this?

Yes me too.

Thanks

Shall we speak to CS guys and split the cost?

I guess one of the first things would be finding out what functions people would want.

For me the big thing I am looking for is a way to be able to easily import the orders in to CS so I can ship it.

It looks like other people want to be able to list products from their site on to ebay.

this is a great feature that will make cs cart even better…if there are any further details regarding this mod…then please share it here…

ill pitch in as well for ebay plugin

This feature should be included as standard add on in cs-cart in the near future.
