In this case you need to replace the following part of code:
#container {
margin:0 auto;
padding:0 11px;
width:900px;
}
with this one
#container {
margin:0 auto;
padding:0 11px;
width:1024px;
}
in the “styles.base.css” file, located in the “skins/YOUR_CUSTOMER_ACTIVE_SKIN/customer” directory.

I have a similar issue, however I’m trying to fix the formatting issue when printing. Any ideas how I can make the center column cover 100% of the width of the page? I drew an example (see attachment).
I’ve tried modifying the print.css in my theme and I can’t seem to get the center container to get wider.
