Dont see how it can do anymore than the normal import. maybe just makes it easier. It does mention database stuff buy i think that would need a mod/addon to the cart.
I read the site, but am not sure what this software offers over using either Excel or PHP (or whatever language) to create the CSC CSV import file. You are getting an Excel spreadsheet that I guess is supposed to help you create the import file. It doesn’t give you anything more than the standard CSC import file, meaning you can’t add new fields to it to import data that the the standard file doesn’t support. In the end, I don’t think it offers more than a competent PHP programmer or someone who knows the basics of Excel/OpenOffice could give you.
Another question asked by Nukem was will this product create categories. There really isn’t a need for that in my opinion. If you create the CSC import file with categories in it, for example, Cat1///SubCat1///SubCat2, CSC will auto-create the categories and subcategories for you if they are not there. This also works with features, you don’t need to create a feature and put in 100 variants via the Admin console, the import will create the features for you if they are not there.
This tools is best way to create a “clean” product database. After create it you could import in one time in your cscart shop.
It’s really interesting if you do it :
1/ Create a “product database” from suppliers catalog
2/ Create a clean cscart installation
3/ Import in one time all yours products and categories
And not if you have already a CSCART shop!

Have a database on Excel to manage your products, your prices, your suppliers involved in a neutral environment for any program!
If you decide to change the shop, or import your products in an accounting software, then you can do it easily.
One product in my online shop asked me to have 3 or 4 different suppliers references. You can easily find references and suppliers and give the order to your supplier that ships with your client. You get time!
