For a long time I have really neglected to do any type of SEO work since we have so much business on eBay and Amazon. My goal is to really focus on getting more customers to our site since we don’t have the enormous fees that those 2 giants do. Look at the graph I have attached and tell me what I should do to get my stats up. I had a spike last October right before we updated our site.
So if you have the answer to my question please reply. I can run a business but have no one with me that can tackle this issue…
I’ve done SEO work for several years. Here are my standard tips to fellow cart owners.
- Get relevant QUALITY back-links to your site with good anchor text targeting keywords you want to rank high for.
- Do not do mass link buying, do it gradually.
- Authoritative links are worth the money!
- On page SEO is important but not nearly as important as Off-page and SERP results
- PR under a 6 doesn’t do much for you anymore. Try to link from pr6 sites or better. 2 links from authoritative sites are like 200 pr3 links pretty much. Not exactly but you get the idea.
- Don’t buy links with high outbound links, you’ll just share the page strength with other sites.

I didn’t understand anything you just said. Is there a book of some sorts that I can buy? I mean, I have built websites from scratch and have that down. I just need something that can decipher what you just said. Do you have a good website that I can visit? In am good at self-teaching.
