Need A CS-Pro

I need a few quotes on basic configuration.

I do not want to upgrade from 2.0.8

I have a small glitch with Gift Certificates that needs to be fixed

I would like to disable the “unable to ship to your location”

I would like to add new products to the backend without taking forever. ( Correcting a error is fast in a existing product; however, creating a new product will take a while.)

I should have stayed with 2.0.6. The only issue I had was the “unable to ship to your location” now I have other issues. Once the 2.0.8 issues are fixed I will be a happy CSCart user.

Feel free to private message me with quotes.

If you are who I think you are, I may be the only one that could help you because your software copy on 2.0.6 was already more heavily modified than you may have realized and if you attempted to upgrade by yourself, I can see how you could easily be having serious problems now.

I’m not planning on upgrading. Just want some simple bugs fixed that I can’t ignore any longer. 2.0.6 shouldn’t be heavily modded , but I’m not sure because I didn’t do the upgrade from 1.3.5. I’m using 2.0.8 right now though, so I’m not sure why it would make a difference? Thanks for your response.

You’re not sure if your store was modified or not?

Have you tried CS Support as they may have bug fixes already?

I’m not the one who upgraded the store. I paid a respected member to do so. The member did a great job. However, he’s pretty busy and I need to get this done soon. I haven’t added too many new products since because it takes so long. The problems i’m having are with the cart not with his installation. I’ve read where some members where experiencing the same thing. However, I’m not sure if it was modified because I didn’t do the install. To my knowledge its using stock software.

If this is the case then upgrading should not be a problem.

Yea, the person you are talking about didn’t modify your software, its stock, unless you had custom php mod’s added but he wouldn’t have been the one to do that.

so upgrading would probably be your best bet. Especially if the bugs were fixed and 2.0.12 seems to have fixed even more.

Just my $.02

Hopefully…I think i’m going to hang with 2.0.8 because everything else works great. Coupons , Discounts, Shipping , Tax is flawless. I would just like to repair the few glitches the cart has and hang with it for a few years. I have no intentions to upgrade every month for small updates and unknown bugs. I’m not a big fan of being a beta tester. I would have a totally different opinion if I knew how to fix stuff, but I rely others when it comes to php since 2.0.8 works a little. I think it would be better just to fix the remaining bugs in the current cart i’m using and start adding new products and focus on getting new customers.

If you you have the ability of fixing my cart please send a private message.

Have you contacted CS support? they probably already know of the bugs and may even have the “fixes” and can tell you what and where to apply the code fixes.

Just saying it may save you money and be a “supported” fix, rather than have someone custom “fix” your issues and cause you issues down the road.

Just offering suggestions…Cheers

Great idea. I’ll try to send CS an e-mail. Thanks for your time.
